I was part of the graphic design team that produced posters for a 1940's style dance held on Penarth Pier. This was the winning poster design and was used to promote the event. The scheme uses a laser cut slipcase as a marker to superimpose user-created digital content onto the front cover of the book, creating new ways for young literate creatives to interact with traditional print media. Readers are encouraged to animate parts of the stories and upload their creations to the Orion publishers website. When the slipcase is viewed through any mobile or desktop device, content from the database is ripped at random and superimposed onto the surface using augmented reality technology. The result is a design scheme that ceases to date as the content evolves with the technological developments of the age. Slideshow displaying product detail. Create an identity for a creative youth facility called 'The Link'. The response must be dynamic, engaging, and based around the notion of teamwork and building skills. I project managed the winning pitch for the brief. The outcome uses a bold graphic language and interactive media to present an immersive brand experience for uses of the facility. The first slideshow presents the graphic language that was applied to promotional material. A product that uses Freudian psychosexual theory to accentuate the connotations connected with lubrication oil. A smaller, more manageable volume capacity able to contain 'top up' oil.
